School Visits
One of the advantages of having the lifeboat Museum in Southwold is the fact that educational visits from local schools can be arranged by contacting the Museum and making the necessary arrangements.
Here we have a phoito of a recent school visit where the children from Edgar Sewter School learnt about life over 100 years ago when the sailing rowing lifeboats were used to rescue people from Southwold Beach. They all found the visit interesting educational and entertaining
They are able to take part in a quiz and also watch video’s showing the lifeboat in action..
My thanks to our volunteer stewards who act as stewards at the Museum, we are always looking for helpers if you are interested in assisting us please feel free to contact me on jamie@alfredcorry.co.ukor 07770 625851
